Our Pop Up Cash and Carry has gone off with a bang!π₯We have made 15+ sales and in a revolving style exhibition we have introduced new art in place of those sold so there`s always something new to look at π
We are also hosting a Art & Morning Tea event at 10:30 this Friday the 3rd of May, come along and meet a few of the talented artists that are exhibiting with us! π¨π

This past Saturday, we connected to MΔori tradition through Raranga weaving with Ahi Nyx. Ahi offered a safe space to talk about rongoΔ harakeke, the healing powers of harakeke, and caring for our natural environment. Participants learnt weaving techniques to make their own pΔraerae, MΔori sandals. NgΔ mihi nui Ahi for your wonderful mahi!

π Ruth`s recycled glass creations are elegant candle holders and also charming bird feeders.

Sneak π into the Pop Up! Cash & Carry Art exhibition opening tomorrow at 12PM. There are currently 40 participating artists with over 100 artworks on sale. 100% of artwork sales goes to artists, so be sure to check out their reasonable prices!
We will also be holding Art & Tea sessions with some of the participating artists on Friday 3rd & 10th May 10:30am π«

Students in Wednesday Brush & Beyond with tutor Xinli Deng created these stunning masterpieces for the end of term 1 π This was Xinliβs first class at MAC and we look forward to Term 2 as he continues to inspire young minds through his independent creative art classes for children. With a curriculum that covers sketching, acrylic painting, crafting and mixed media, Xinli aims to not only teach techniques but also guide each student in developing their own artistic language, unique style, and creative themes. This class is a bilingual class as Xinli speaks both Chinese & English. Online booking for Term 2 can be done through our profile link π¨
