Welcome to Mairangi Arts Centre (MAC)
MAC is a vibrant, community-based visual arts education facility and exhibition venue.
We are open Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 4:00 pm and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and during New Zealand holidays.
Our mission is to engage and empower our diverse communities through the arts. We provide an extensive art programme for children, teens, and adults in a range of media.
We host exhibitions which are open to the public and have a dedicated space for our members to showcase their latest creations.
Our membership options for adults and youth artists are best suited for those who wish to regularly participate in classes and workshops. We host special membership events, provide discounted classes, and have opportunities for members to be active at the community centre.
