Welcome to Mairangi Arts Centre

Mairangi Arts Centre is a vibrant, community based visual arts education facility and exhibition venue.

We are open Monday- Friday 9:30am – 4:00pm and on Saturdays & Sundays 10:00am – 2:00pm (Closed during New Zealand holidays)

Our mission is to engage and empower our diverse communities through the arts. We provide an extensive art programme for children, teens and adults in a range of mediums.

We host exhibitions open to the public and have a dedicated space for our own members to showcase their latest creations.

Our membership options for adults and youth artists are best suited for those that wish to regularly participate in classes and workshops. We host special membership events, provide discounted classes and have opportunities for members to be active at the community centre.

Classes & Workshops

Our visual art progamme offers weekly classes for ages 5 years up to adults on a term by term basis. We also offer a school holiday programme as well as workshops. Browse through our class offerings of Clay making, Crystal Cast Glass, Watercolours, Acrylic & Oil painting, Soapmaking & more

🎨 Exhibition Still Open! πŸ“Έ Don't let the Easter break stop you from experiencing the captivating Korean Photo Friends exhibition! While our reception will be closed and classes are on hold, you can still enjoy the mesmerizing artworks from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM during the Easter long weekend.
