Claire Chamberlain was a secondary teacher of Art History for over 20 years. She holds a Master of Arts with Honours from the University of Auckland. Claire was recently the President of the NZ Art History Teachers’ Association and organised a host of activities for students and her teaching peers alike. She has written on an array of art historical topics and has led tours locally and to Europe. In 2017 she was part of a contingent of New Zealanders who travelled to Venice for the Vernissage, or opening, of the Biennale (the ‘Olympics’ of the art world) and she later worked on the NZ pavilion in Venice. She loves all things Art History and aims to educate, enthuse and raise confidence through a fun and informative presentation style. Claire is a keen collector of art, loves travel and food. She is most happy when she is combining all three.
