This Autumn, Tāmaki Makaurau will be celebrating the vibrancy of its people with its multicultural festival,  World of Cultures. Mairangi Arts Centre is thrilled to be part of this festival by celebrating our diverse community with our exhibition & opening event, Culture & Beyond.
Three ways to participate
#1 Submit your artworks
Do you have an artwork or two that shares something about your culture?  Or do you identify with more than one culture and your artwork and/or expression celebrates your distinctive background? To submit your artwork, please fill out the form below.
#2 Share an experience at our opening event
For our exhibition day opening, Saturday 22 March, we invite our community to share a cultural experience. This could be storytelling for youth, playing a game or a performance that provides a glimpse into your culture or diverse cultural background. If you are keen to participate, please get in touch with us at office@mairangiarts.co.nz

#3 Send us a flyer of what you do

Do you run a community organisation or local business that provides cultural services (workshops, activities, fashion) or cuisines (eateries, catering) in our area? Tell us a little about what you do and send us a digital A4 flyer promoting your service or products to office@mairangiarts.co.nz. Your submitted flyer will be part of a community display showcasing the cultural offerings within our community.

Please fill in the form below to enter!
