Alternative Clay Learning Space(s)
ACLS is the free space(s) for learning about clay and pottery, together or by yourself in Waipapa (original name of "mairangi" bay area), started by Jack Tilson and Chris Berthelsen.
It is a gift and open to anyone/thing and uses "stuff we found". You are always welcome.
A pottery workspace made of found and donated materials in a local home hosts regular free happenings and drop-ins where people do stuff, together, on a basis of friendship and honesty.
Sometimes we roam the neighbourhood in a pottery cart made of junk - catch us!
Activities (always free) include manual clay processing, creation, firing, glazing, talks, breast feeding, display, feasting, napping, at least.
Please contact Chris Berthelsen firstname.lastname@example.org / 0220 473 281 for schedule.
